Eurostyle Systems in Morocco—Plastic Production Site
Created in 2010 to provide local support for the Renault car company, the Eurostyle Systems Tangier plant lies in the Moroccan city’s tax-free export zone, near the airport. It is specialized in the production of bumpers, interior and exterior trim components, and door panels.
The plant employs 200 and had an estimated €30 million in turnover in 2014. It serves the Renault assembly plants in Tangier and Casablanca as well as other automotive part manufacturers established in Morocco, like Yazaki and Léoni, for PSA cross-brand projects.
Its machine fleet includes 20 standard injection presses—with compression forces ranging from 350 to 2,700 tonnes—and over a hundred injection tools for operations in pace with vehicle mass production runs. The total surface area dedicated to production and logistics is 15,000 m², and the plant annually delivers approximately 10 million parts.
The site’s performance indicators reflect a consistently superior level of quality. In 2012, during a favourable period for business growth preceding the 2013 start-up of Logan and Sandero production, the Tangier plant defect rate was 6 ppm and the client service level was 99%.
