Acquisition Costing Leader (Slovakia)

OUR COMPANY
Eurostyle Systems is a key player in the design and production of interior and exterior solutions for the automotive industry, with over 60 years of experience and expertise in this field. We support manufacturers in developing cleaner, lighter, more comfortable vehicles with increasingly distinctive interior and exterior designs.
With 15 production plants and 4 technical centers, we now employ 3,200 people across 11 countries, generating €440 million in revenue.

OUR SITE
Our 4 technical centers in France, Romania, Germany, and Slovakia employ 300 people dedicated to research, development, and testings for all units in the plastics and leather division and host support functions for the Branch.
The 38 employees of the Slovak Technical Center located in Košice bring together expertise in costing and business acquisition, product development and quality, as well as industrialization.

RESPONSABILITIES
As a member of the costing department, you report to a Costing Manager. You cost projects in the acquisition phase. You study the feasibility of the project, the necessary resources and you formalize solutions for customers in technical and economic terms.

In detail, you are responsible for:
• Receive and analyze customer requirements
• Contact various departments (quality, logistics, purchasing, etc.) to meet the customer expectations
• Study the feasibility of customer requests (technical, economic, planning…)
• Consult departments involved in projects to use their lesson learned
• Define the resources needed to handle the project (schedule, development hours, etc.)
• Define the Cost of the project in terms of products, processes, investments and studies
• Explain the costing to internal and external customers (files, technical presentation, etc.)
• Propose alternative solutions to improve the quality/cost/time ratio
• Use and update costing tools and databases
• Lead coordination meetings during the business acquisition phase

PROFILE
Holding a master’s degree specialized in process, plastic processing or a general engineering diploma, you have at least five years of experience in costing or process functions within the automotive industry.

You master costing methods, feasibility analysis and cost management. You have a strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, injection moulding tooling and assembly processes.

Meticulous and with a strong analytical mindset, you are able to coordinate various stakeholders and to defend your cost assumptions to both internal and external customers. Your sense of responsibility and your ability to handle several tasks simultaneously will contribute to your success in this role.

Given our international environment, the mastery of English is required.
