Scope:

This policy applies to all Eurostyle Systems sites and covers the entire product life cycle: supply chain -+ Innovation -+ development -+ production -+ assembly at customer plants -+ product use -+ vehicle service -+ end of-vehicle life.

Responsibility:

The Branch General Manager appoints the Quality & Sustainability Director to drive our environmental and energy performance.

Our Commitment:

We commit to continuous improvement and the balanced integration of economic, environmental and energy Issues, in line with our purpose, „Together for a beautiful, comfortable and eco-responsible automobile.“

We deploy a robust environmental and energy management system across all sites, supported by our employees and stakeholders;

Objectives and Targets (aligned with Group CSRD commitments)

  • Certify all new plants to ISO 14001 & 50001 within 2 years after SOP and 80 % of existing plants (ESH, ESM, ESU) to ISO 50001 by end-2027. Achieve 30 % renewable energy by 2030 and 100 % by 2045.
  • Reduce GHG emissions per tone of material I transformed (plastics & leather):
    • Scope 1 & 2: -40 % kg CO2 eq/t by 2030 vs 2021 (Including electricity efficiency -15 % to reach 1 315 kWh/t).
    • Scope 3, -30 % kg CO2eq/t by 2030 vs
    • Reach Net Zero for Scope 1 & 2 by 2040 and Scope 1, 2 & 3 by
  • Eliminate all landfill waste by 2030.
  • Support customer transition to recycled and bio-sourced materials. In line with the latest ELV Regulation and forthcoming Digital Circularity Vehicle Passport, we submit 80 % of RFQ responses with recycled plastic alternatives where we are design-responsible and constraints

Operational Commitments

  • We comply with all legal and other requirements (including DSBJ) and purchase energy-efficient products and services.
  • At every site we implement a local policy to limit impacts throughout the life cycle by,
  • Preventing air, soil and water pollution, including plastic pellets, micro-plastics and VOC emissions (injection, gluing, painting).
  • Developing and purchasing renewable energy with the latest European and local regulations.
  • Selecting energy-efficient equipment for new builds, extensions and industrialization.
  • Promoting circular economy through eco-design,
  • dismantling and recyclability.
  • Ensuring responsible chemical management (ELV, REACH, Internal EHSJ).
  • Developing leather alternatives to support animal welfare.
  • limiting deforestation, land use and biodiversity Impacts on greenfield or brownfield projects.
  • Conducting due diligence across direct and indirect supply chain on banned substances, recycled/recyclable materials, eco-design and deforestation (EUDRJ).
  • Designing products to minimize production waste and facilitate end-of-life recycling and traceability.

We develop all products with a full life-cycle perspective from design to end-of-life.

Communication and Review this policy are communicated to all stakeholders via our website and internal channels. It is reviewed annually during Management Reviews in line with our Corporate Sustainability Strategy.
