GMD Plastic & Leather Systems harmonizes its quality system

Sites Schäfer Oesterle Würzburg (Allemagne), Bonyhàd (Hongrie) & le Tech Center Eurostyle Schäfer Germany have successfully certified their quality management system under the IATF 16949* standard.
For the GMD Plastic & Leather Systems Division, the new IATF 16949 certification of the Schäfer Oesterle plants and the Division’s Tech Center in Germany strengthens its strategy and gives it a significant competitive advantage and opens up new opportunities.

Since its foundation, Schäfer Oesterle has been supplying the high-end automotive industry with leather-covered interior parts.

The IATF 16 949 certification helps us to meet the highest requirements of the automotive industry in order to remain consistent with Schäfer Oesterle’s special know-how and to be worthy of the trust placed in us by our prestigious customers.

The work carried out by the teams, in constant search of global optimization, makes it possible to reinforce the anticipation of risks, to guard against possible failures occurring at every stage of the production of parts and to guarantee robust processes.
