Gender Equality Index: French Eurostyle Systems sites scored 89/100!

GMD Plastic & Leather Systems is also improving its score by 6% between 2020 and 2021. The Branch intends to maintain this progress in professional equality between women and men. This is a key commitment of GMD Plastic & Leather Systems’ HR policy, regardless of the size of its sites.

At GMD Plastic & Leather Systems, which operates exclusively in the automotive industry, nearly 40% of its employees are women, and the Branch is pursuing its actions in various priority areas such as recruitment, compensation, training and career management to achieve balance.

The fight against all forms of discrimination (based on gender, age, religious affiliation or ethnic origin) is firmly anchored in the DNA of GMD Plastic & Leather Systems and is a daily commitment for the Branch.

The gender equality index is calculated according to four indicators:

  • – The salary gap between women and men, for comparable positions and ages (/40 points)
  • – Salary increases for women compared to men, whether due to promotion or individual increases (/35 points)
  • – The percentage of female employees who receive a raise upon return from maternity leave (/15 points)
  • – The number of women and men in the 10 highest salaries (/10 points)
